Brunswick, GA

So around 9:00 a.m. we hit the road for Brunswick, GA, a 305 mile trip to where we had planned to spend our first night. Our reservations were at Blythe Island Regional Park, a 1100 acre public park in the Golden Isles of Georgia.

The park was really very nice and received assistance from Georgia's Department of Natural Resources. When we checked in there were these huge rabbits running around. Park staff told us there were about 100 of these long floppy ear rabbits there. They really appeared to be rather domesticated with the park staff and all the campers feeding them.

We didn't do much that evening. We didn't even unhook the car from the RV.

We just hooked up, cooked steaks and baked potatoes for dinner, played some backgammon and went to bed. One thing for sure...we had a two cat and a puppy dog night (you can decide who was who).

It was sooooo cold. Good thing we had packed a few warm throws. Imagine, leaving Myrtle Beach to find a little sunshine and it turns out to be freezing.

The next morning we got up and broke camp and left about 9 a.m. for Florida.
