This is not the beginning
Bobby's World actually started in 2012 with our first RV, a 32' Winnebago.
We kept this RV for a few months and only took 4 trips in it before deciding we had bought it too soon. After all Michael was still working and time wouldn't allow us to take many road trips. So, we sold the RV and bought a condo at Myrtle Beach. Now, Michael is getting closer to retiring and the time seems right to get another RV. So we did today. As you can see we went a little smaller. Our new RV is a 2017 Mercedes Sprinter/ERA Winnebago.The ERA is only 25' so we are going tiny living this time.
Anyway...Michael had been scouting around for an RV and at first we were torn between the ERA and a Leisure Travel Van. Then once we decided on the ERA we had to decide between a 2017C or a 2018M. The difference was the C (what we got) had a door at the back of the shower to the back storage compartment while the 2018 didn't have this feature. The advantage of the 2018 over the 2017 was it had a Murphy bed. That would have been a pretty cool accessory but no way did that option beat out me having my own bathroom facilities. Kathy and Michael have a dry bath and with the 2017 ERA so do I. We all would have hated to have my "facilities" in the shower. And, with tiny living you have to be creative with space allocation and Michael sure was with the cool bathroom he built for me.
